Marcelo Fernández

Marcelo is a public accountant and auditor of the Universidad Tecnológica Metropolitana (UTEM). He is certified in Budget Management and NICSP for the Chilean Public Sector from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. He has a diploma in State Financial Management from the University of Chile, and a diploma in International Financial Reporting Standards from the Diego Portales University.

He has more than 14 years of professional experience in external auditing and consulting. He has specialized in External Audits of financial statements for both Private Companies and Public Entities; in NICSP training services and also in convergences to NICSP for the Chilean Public Sector for both Central Government Entities and Municipal Entities.
He currently participates as a professor of the NICSP - CGR diploma at the University of Chile.

He has experience with various clients such as the Commission for the Financial Market (CMF), Technical Cooperation Service (SERCOTEC), National Fisheries and Aquaculture Service (SERNAPESCA), National Forest Corporation (CONAF), Illustrious Municipality of Concepción, Illustrious Municipality of San Felipe, Municipal Corporation of Rancagua, among others.
